Product Description:
The MS2E04-C0BNN-CMSG1-NNNNN-NN is a low-inertia synchronous servomotor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. As a three-phase permanent-magnet motor, it delivers closed-loop torque and position control for industrial automation axes that demand quick acceleration and precise repeatability. Rated operation is achieved at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, allowing direct coupling to gear stages or load shafts without overspeeding standard machinery.
Position feedback is generated by an Advanced Performance ACUROlink multiturn encoder that provides 20-bit single-turn resolution and tracks 4,096 revolutions, supporting fine interpolation across the full travel range. The housing provides IP65 protection, preventing dust and water jets from affecting operation during washdown or outdoor service. A brake supplies 5.00 Nm of holding torque, enabling secure load retention when power is removed. Compliance with ATEX requirements permits use in applicable zones where explosive atmospheres can occur. Thermal limits permit continuous output from 0 to 40 °C without derating, while self-cooling disperses losses through the stator surface. Operation is permitted at elevations up to 1,000 m above sea level. Standard deep-groove ball bearings support the shaft, and RAL 9005 varnish protects the external metal surfaces.
Mechanical integration follows B5 / IM3001 geometry and uses an 82 mm square flange with standard accuracy. A 50 mm centering collar aligns the motor, while 6.6 mm mounting holes are arranged on a 95 mm pitch circle. Frame length code C and motor size code 04 correspond to the motor’s stack depth and power density. A smooth shaft with a shaft sealing ring transmits torque without a keyway, reducing fretting in precision couplings. The Size 1 electrically released brake holds the load when motor power is unavailable. An onboard PT1000 temperature sensor monitors motor temperature during operation. Power, brake, and encoder conductors share a single rotatable M23 connector, simplifying cable routing in compact cabinets.
