Product Description:
The MS2E04-B0BTN-EMDL0-NNNNS-G1 is a three-phase permanent-magnet servomotor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. In automated plants, it operates as the electromechanical link between a drive amplifier and the driven shaft. It supplies precisely metered torque and speed for pick-and-place axes, form-fill-seal machines, and other motion sequences that depend on repeatable positioning.
This model reaches a nominal speed of 6000 rpm, allowing high cycle rates where short move times are critical. Its enclosure carries an IP65 rating with a shaft seal, so airborne dust and water directed at the housing do not enter the stator enclosure. Heat is removed by self-cooling, eliminating the need for external blowers and simplifying installation. Continuous operation is permissible at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C without derating, and performance remains stable at installation heights up to 1,000 m above mean sea level. Within these operating limits, the motor can maintain its rated torque without additional thermal safeguards.
A low-inertia rotor shortens acceleration times, making the unit suitable for axes that reverse frequently. The shaft is supplied without a holding brake, so any static load-holding requirement must be satisfied by the drive or an external brake module. Position feedback comes from a multi-turn absolute encoder that tracks up to 4,096 mechanical revolutions, enabling immediate absolute position reporting after power-up. Mechanical centering is handled by a 50 mm diameter collar that aligns the motor flange with B5 / IM3001 mounting faces and a 95 mm bolt circle. Conformance with ATEX directives supports use in designated zones where explosive atmospheres can occur. The RAL 9005 varnish coating provides a uniform conductive surface for grounding and corrosion resistance.
