Product Description:
The MS2E04-B0BNN-ESDL0-NNNNS-G1 is a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. The unit works with IndraDrive controllers to provide controlled torque for machine shafts. Precise speed and position feedback supports coordinated motion in automated packaging, metal-cutting, and assembly equipment. Its permanent-magnet design provides responsive operation for applications that require frequent changes in speed and position.
Under rated conditions, the rotor can reach 3000 rpm, enabling fast cycle movements while remaining within the mechanical limits of the standard deep-groove ball bearings. The IP65 housing and an additional shaft sealing ring protect the stator windings from dust and water jets. Heat is removed through self-cooling, eliminating the need for external blowers and helping the motor fit into compact machine spaces. The motor is ATEX compliant, permitting installation in designated zones where potentially explosive atmospheres may occur. A flange diameter of 82 mm provides the interface to compatible gearboxes. The centering collar measures 50 mm, the mounting hole circle measures 95 mm, and four 6.6 mm mounting holes secure the frame. The motor uses a B5 / IM3001 flange mounting arrangement for direct attachment to the machine structure.
Position feedback comes from a single-turn encoder that reports the absolute position within one mechanical revolution. A PT1000 temperature sensor relays winding temperature to the drive for thermal monitoring. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, so an external mechanism or drive-applied torque must retain stationary loads when necessary. Its aluminum rotor has low inertia, allowing acceleration and deceleration commands to be executed quickly with modest drive current. Operation is permitted from 0 to 40 °C without derating and at elevations up to 1,000 m. RAL 9005 varnish covers the housing for additional surface protection. Frame length code B and motor size code 04 establish the motor’s physical profile, while standard flange accuracy supports proper alignment with attached equipment.
