Product Description:
The MS2E04-B0BNN-EMDL1-NNNNS-G1 is a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. It serves as a compact drive element for automated machinery. The motor converts electrical power into accurately controlled shaft rotation for indexing tables, linear stages, and packaging lines, where repeatable positioning and regulated speed are required.
The motor reaches a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, enabling rapid positioning cycles while remaining within standard servo drive voltage limits. A holding brake rated at 5.00 Nm secures the load whenever the drive is de-energized, preventing drift on vertical or suspended axes. The motor has an IP65 rating with a shaft sealing ring, so airborne dust and low-pressure water jets cannot enter the housing during washdown or exposure to cutting fluid. Position feedback tracks up to 4096 absolute mechanical revolutions, allowing the controller to recover the exact rotor angle after a power interruption without requiring a homing routine. Compliance with ATEX requirements permits installation in zones where flammable atmospheres may occasionally be present, provided the associated drive electronics meet the same classification.
The motor operates between 0 and 40 °C without current derating, and mechanical integrity is maintained at an installation altitude from 0 to 1,000 m above mean sea level. A multi-turn encoder uses a battery-free counting mechanism within the feedback assembly to retain position information across multiple shaft revolutions. Heat is removed through self-cooling, with the laminated stator core and motor housing transferring thermal energy to the surrounding air without an external fan or liquid cooling loop. A standard deep-groove ball bearing arrangement supports radial and axial loads during operation. The RAL 9005 varnish finish provides an additional barrier against corrosion during extended service intervals.
