Product Description:
The MS2E04-B0BNN-EMDL0-NNNNS-G1 is a three-phase permanent-magnet servomotor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. It is intended for closed-loop axis control in industrial automation, where fast positioning and high repeatability are required for packaging stations, handling modules, or assembly lines. Its low-inertia rotor shortens acceleration ramps, allowing the motor to respond quickly to changing motion commands.
This motor reaches a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, allowing drives to achieve rapid cycle times without oversized gear stages. The square mounting interface uses a flange that measures 82 mm across, and a centering collar of 50 mm aligns the shaft concentrically with gearboxes or load couplings. Protection is rated at IP65 with a shaft sealing ring, so dust and water jets do not affect the bearings or windings. The B5 / IM3001 mounting pattern provides four through-holes on a 95 mm pitch circle, and each hole is 6.6 mm in diameter to accept standard M6 screws. Standard deep-groove ball bearings support radial and axial loads. Frame length code B and motor size code 04 indicate the magnetic stack used inside the motor housing. Operation remains stable at elevations up to 1,000 m above sea level, and the unit relies on self-cooling fins instead of forced air. No holding brake is installed, so an external clamping device is needed when the motor controls a vertical axis.
A multi-turn encoder detects up to 4096 mechanical revolutions and transmits absolute position values to the drive, eliminating homing cycles after power interruptions. Thermal monitoring is handled by a PT1000 sensor embedded in the stator. RAL 9005 varnish protects the winding against moisture and chemicals, while the stator design complies with ATEX requirements for use in zones where explosive atmospheres can occur. Continuous output is supported within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 40 °C without derating, and a self-contained temperature model compensates for heat generated by copper losses.
