The MS2E03-D0BYN-CMSK1-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. Intended for closed-loop positioning and velocity control in pick-and-place stations, feeders, and handling modules, the motor translates commanded current from a servo amplifier into tightly regulated mechanical rotation. By combining permanent-magnet excitation with a compact frame, it fits automated equipment where cycle time and positioning accuracy affect overall throughput.
At the electrical interface, the motor attains a nominal speed of 9,000 rpm under rated load. A single-cable M23 connector carries power and ACUROlink feedback, minimizing wiring and allowing the plug to rotate for strain relief. The multi-turn encoder delivers a 20-bit single-turn resolution and an absolute range of 4,096 revolutions, so the drive retains position information after a power loss. The IP65 enclosure blocks dust and resists water jets, while a PT1000 temperature sensor reports winding temperature to the controller. Operation is permitted from 0 °C to 40 °C without derating and at altitudes up to 1,000 m.
