The MS2E03-B0BYN-CMSK0-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet servomotor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. This compact motor drives precision axes in industrial automation, where its low-inertia rotor supports rapid acceleration and responsive position changes. The unit integrates with compatible Rexroth drives to provide closed-loop torque and speed control in applications that require ATEX-compliant, IP-rated motion equipment.
During continuous operation with a 60 K winding temperature rise, the motor produces 0.21 kW of mechanical power and a rated torque of 0.35 Nm while drawing 0.72 A. At standstill, it produces 0.73 Nm at 1.31 A, while dynamic operation permits a maximum torque of 3.75 Nm at a current of 7.25 A. The shaft reaches a maximum speed of 9,000 rpm, and the electromagnetic design provides a torque constant of 0.61 Nm/A and a voltage constant of 36.9 V per 1,000 rpm. The windings have a resistance of 14.3 Ω and an inductance of 20.22 mH, supporting self-cooling operation without external airflow. The Advanced Performance ACUROlink multi-turn encoder provides a single-turn resolution of 20 bits and tracks up to 4,096 revolutions, enabling accurate absolute positioning across repeated shaft rotations. Power, feedback, and sensor lines share a rotatable M23 single-cable connector, reducing the number of separate connections required at the motor. The keyed shaft includes a sealing ring, and the IP65 housing protects internal components from dust and water jets. The B5 / IM3001 mounting interface has a 63 mm hole circle, four 4.5 mm mounting holes, a 40 mm centering collar, and a 58 mm flange. The size 03 frame has length code B, deep-groove ball bearings, standard flange accuracy, and a RAL 9005 varnish finish. The motor operates without a holding brake, so stationary loads must be secured by drive torque or an external mechanism when required.
