Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MMD082A-030-EG0-KN for the MMD Synchronous Motors series. This compact permanent-magnet unit is intended for light gantries, indexers, and auxiliary axes that need accurate positioning and moderate torque density in industrial automation equipment. Its permanent-magnet design supports responsive motion control when paired with a suitable drive. Power and feedback are routed through a plug connector with about 25 cm of attached cable, and the lead exits toward the A-side of the housing to help keep wiring orderly in tight machine spaces.

At standstill, the motor provides a continuous torque of 2.4 Nm and reaches a nominal speed of 3000 rpm when operated from a drive with 230 V phase-to-phase output. Under those conditions, it delivers 750 W of mechanical power, while winding code 030 supports operation without forced cooling. The enclosure has an IP65 rating, which helps protect the motor against dust and low-pressure water jets near production equipment. Feedback comes from an incremental encoder with 2,500 increments per mechanical revolution, and the rotor inertia of 1.33 × 10⁻⁴ kg·m² supports quick acceleration with limited drive current. The motor is a synchronous type with a 90 mm flange and a 19 mm plain shaft that uses a sealing ring, and it is supplied without a holding brake. Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above sea level.

For short-duty overloads, the shaft can reach 4500 rpm and produce as much as 6.9 Nm before thermal or mechanical derating is required. The motor has a total mass of 3.1 kg, which helps keep handling simple during assembly and supports use on smaller moving axes. A 70 mm pilot centers the frame accurately on mating components, and motor length code A keeps the overall depth compact. The centering bore aligns with mating gearboxes, making the housing suitable for installations where available space is limited.
