The MMD Synchronous Motors series is a compact AC servo motor family designed for use with DMD position drive controllers in the MINIDRIVE system.
The series includes four motor sizes rated from 100 W to 750 W, all with a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, incremental encoder feedback of 2500 pulses per revolution, and versions available with or without an electrically released holding brake. These motors are built with plug-in electrical connections, a plain shaft with sealing ring, and an enclosure design rated to IP65 when the power, feedback, and brake connections are mounted correctly. The series is specified for operation in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C and installation elevations up to 1000 meters above sea level, with torque derating required if those limits are exceeded. Overall, the MMD series is intended for compact servo applications that require matched motor-drive pairing, sealed motor construction, and consistent positioning performance across a small range of output classes.
