The MHP115B-058-HG0-BNNNNN is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MHP Synchronous Motors series. It is intended for closed-loop industrial axes where compact dimensions and high continuous torque are required. By combining a size 115 stator frame with length code B, the unit supplies continuous rotary power for positioning tables, packaging stations, and material-handling modules. The synchronous design also supports stable speed regulation and repeatable motion on axes that start and stop frequently.

With a continuous standstill torque of 50.0 Nm, the motor can hold or drive loads without forced cooling while current remains within the rated limits. This capability is supported by natural convection cooling, which dissipates heat through the finned housing instead of an external fan. Class F insulation protects the windings from thermal stress and allows higher operating temperatures before insulation breakdown. Position feedback is generated by an incremental encoder that delivers 2048 increments per revolution, helping the drive maintain accurate speed and position control. The enclosure meets IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets are kept away from internal motor components.

Operation is limited to an ambient range of 0 to +40 °C, matching typical control-cabinet environments and preventing derating in most plant conditions. A plain shaft with a sealing ring carries the mechanical load and helps maintain ingress protection when coupled. Because the motor is supplied without a holding brake, external locking or servo torque is required to secure a vertical axis at power-off. Electrical power reaches the stator through a connector on side B, which can simplify cable routing at the non-drive end. The motor uses winding code 058 for its electrical characteristics. This layout supports installations where cable access is needed away from the drive end.
