The MHP115A-024-HG1-ANNNNN is a synchronous motor from the MHP series. The MHP series is especially known for its excellent performance in servo applications. The MHP115A-024-HG1-ANNNNN  comes with the international protection IP65 that enables its smooth operation in hazardous areas where environmental conditions are harsh. The motor comes with the POWEDRIVE drive package and a Heidenhain control unit. The Heidenhain control unit operates in conjunction with an incremental encoder with 2048 increments. These platforms combine together to form an excellent closed-loop feedback system.

The motor has a characteristic speed of 2000 rpm that can be increased to a maximum of 6000 rpm. With a 30 kg weight, the motor can produce a 3.1 kW rated power. During standstill mode, a 32 Nm continuous torque can be applied to the motor’s output shaft. A holding brake is also provided with this model. The 70 Nm holding brake helps to maintain the shaft axis in its position when the motor is in de-energizing mode.
