The MHP112B-035-HP0-ANNNNN made by Rexroth Indramat is operated at ambient temperatures ranging from 0º to +40º C and is installed at an elevation of 0 to 1000 meters above ground level. The servo motor uses an electrically released holding brake controlled by a controller installed in the main machine. The holding brake should not be used as the main brake for the MHP motor axis as it wears out after an estimated 20,000 revolutions. If the motor has been stored for long periods, it is necessary to run a test on the transmittable torque of the holding brake before use. The brake alone doesn’t guarantee personnel and machine safety, and so, extra measures like building grids around the structure or adding a second brake to the system should be considered.
The MHP112B-035-HP0-ANNNNN comes with a driven shaft to protect the motors shaft during reverse operations that can lead to deformation or damage. The Ac motor's high power data and high dynamics make it suitable for use in applications that require continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive frequencies. It is fitted with a thermostat for monitoring the system temperature and protects the motor from a possible overload. This servo drive is well suited for operations in Machine tools, textile machines, printing machines, packaging machines, robots, and handling machines.
