The MHP071B-035-HG1-UNNNNN is a brushless servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the MHP Synchronous Motors series. It supplies rotary motion for positioning axes, conveyors, and packaging stations that rely on closed-loop drives for repeatable speed and torque. With permanent-magnet excitation and an external servo controller, the motor converts regulated electrical power into responsive shaft movement for automated cycles. Because it is intended for closed-loop operation, the drive can compare commanded and actual motion to correct for load changes during indexing and positioning.

Under continuous stall conditions the motor delivers 8.0 Nm when cooled only by air moving over its housing. This cooling method uses natural convection, eliminating the need for forced fans and keeping airflow requirements simple around the machine. Operation is permitted in ambient temperatures from 0 to +40 °C, which suits many indoor production areas. The enclosure is sealed to IP65, helping keep dust and water jets away from the bearings and windings. Rotor position is returned to the drive through an incremental encoder with 2048 increments, allowing fine feedback resolution for speed and position control. The detachable power connection is a 270° rotatable connector, allowing cable exit to be aligned with surrounding machine hardware in confined spaces.
