The MHP041B-144-HP1-UNNNNN is a digital AC motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat to be used in the PowerDrive drive package. The PowerDrive is also manufactured by Rexroth Indramat and has a modular concept that allows for the versatile combination of the MHP041B-144-HP1-UNNNNN and other AC motors in the MHP series to create compact drive packages. These packages usually have a standard power control unit on Heidenhain control. It can be used in a wide range of applications including textile machines, packaging machines, handling machines and many more. The MHP041B-144-HP1-UNNNNN is a synchronous motor for PowerDrive offering maintenance-free operation and brushless design.
The MHP041B-144-HP1-UNNNNN features a motor size and motor length of 41 and B, respectively. The windings code is set at 144 while the motor feedback is an incremental encoder with up to 2048 revolutions. The motor features a shaft with key and with a shaft sealing ring, and includes a holding brake with 2.2Nm. The MHP041B-144-HP1-UNNNNN holding brake is used to hold and stop the axis of the motor, and can only work for up to 20,000 revolutions after which it wears down. If power is no longer supplied to the main motor, the holding brake kicks in to hold the axis safely.
