The MHD motors are used as servo and main drive motors and can be applied in different fields such as automation and handling, food processing, paper processing, and machine tools. The MHD093C-035-PG2-BN is equipped with Digital servo feedback (HSF) with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder that sends the appropriate signals to the drive controller to control the motor's speed and position it correctly.

The MHD093C-035-PG2-BN's motor size is 093, with a flange size of 140/ 150 mm and a centering diameter of 130 mm, contributing to the machine's easy attachment. It has a brushless design and uses grease-lubricated bearings, which makes it a maintenance-free motor. The housing design of this motor cools by natural convection or liquid cooling. The liquid cooling system allows it to function adequately with extreme loads such as continuous start-stop operations with high recurring frequencies. Its maximum speed is 4500 revs/min with a holding brake of 32 Nm. The drive shaft of this model is equipped with a key and sealing ring.

The MHD093C-035-PG2-BN is rated IP 65, indicating that it is protected from dust and liquid.  This protection rating also means it can be used in adverse conditions. It is protected from overload by a temperature monitoring system. It should be operated within an ambient temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C. Its black housing varnish (RAL 9005) makes it resistant to diluted acids and alkaline solutions, diluted lyes, water, seawater, and sewage. The varnish also offers a degree of resistance against hydraulic oil and organic solvent.
