The MHD131D-012-PG0-BN is a servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the MHD Synchronous Motors series. As a torque source for digital drive controllers, it converts electrical energy to rotational motion with integrated absolute position feedback for closed-loop automation tasks. Its digital servo feedback encoder and optical measurement method allow the controller to track rotor position across more than 4096 revolutions, making the unit suitable for coordinated axes that demand precise alignment.

At standstill, the motor delivers a continuous torque of 160 Nm, giving the machine the ability to hold heavy loads without overheating. Heat generated by the stator windings is removed through liquid cooling, so rated performance is maintained even under repeated duty cycles. The housing carries an IP65 degree of protection, blocking dust ingress and water jets during washdown. Mechanical centering on the mounting face is simplified by a 250 mm centering diameter, and the 260 mm flange matches standardized frame layouts. Reliable operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C, allowing direct installation in most indoor production areas without derating.

During transport or storage, the unit tolerates temperatures from -20 to +80 °C, and Class F insulation supports winding temperatures up to 155 °C. A plain shaft with a factory-installed seal prevents lubricant leakage. Positional precision is maintained with a system accuracy of ± 0.5 angular minutes, while winding code 012 identifies the electrical constants used by the drive. Power leads exit on side B through an output connector, and the body length is coded D within the size 131 frame. No holding brake is fitted, so static locking must be supplied by the machine. Installation is allowed up to 1000 m above mean sea level.
