The MHD131B-024-PG0-AN is a powerful industrial motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to convert electrical energy into kinetic energy required by industrial motors for optimum operation. This motor is designed by well-trained engineers according to international quality standards; it features a durable housing unit that provides it with optimum protection, allowing it to operate in industrial conditions considered unfavorable for convectional industrial machines. This industrial motor also contains special grease-lubricated ball bearings which help to reduce the frictional heat generated at the housing shaft of this industrial synchronous motor; these ball bearings have a service life of about 30000 hours; however, the wrong handling an installation of the motor can cause a significant reduction in the service life of the industrial motor.
The MHD131B-024-PG0-AN industrial synchronous motor contains digital servo feedback with an integrated multi-turn absolute encoder; this encoder monitors the physical operation of the motor and converts this operation into digital signals which the drive controller can understand and use to control the operation of the motor in real-time. The internal temperature of this motor is regulated via natural convection; however, the controller can also be axially or radially connected to an external air blower which helps to control the temperature in the motor by surface cooling. Under normal operating conditions, this industrial drive controller can maintain an operational efficiency as high as 95 percent for more than five years without experiencing any major mechanical breakdown.
