Internal Product Review
The MHD131B-024-NG1-AN is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat servo motor with liquid cooling and IP65 protection. Digital servo feedback (HSF) and ±0.5 angular-minute system accuracy support precise, stable positioning. A holding brake rated at 100 Nm adds strong axis retention, making the motor an excellent choice for high-confidence servo installations.

Product Description:
The MHD131B-024-NG1-AN servo motor is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MHD Synchronous Motors series. As a permanent-magnet synchronous machine, it converts drive power into controlled rotary motion for indexing tables, gantry axes, and packaging lines where precise speed regulation is critical to product quality. The model carries winding code 024 and a B length designation, allowing it to match compatible electrical and mechanical layouts in existing axis designs.
The motor delivers a continuous torque of 48.0 Nm at standstill, allowing steady force output during low-speed positioning tasks. Its enclosure is rated IP65, so dust ingress is prevented and water jets can be tolerated during washdown cleaning. Internal passages support liquid cooling, removing heat directly from the stator and helping maintain winding temperature stability under high duty cycles. Position and speed are controlled with digital servo feedback (HSF), which combines high resolution with incremental transmission rates for accurate closed-loop operation. This feedback contributes to a system accuracy of ± 0.5 angular minutes, helping keep cumulative positioning error within tight mechanical tolerances during multi-axis interpolation.
A spring-applied brake supplies 100 Nm of holding torque, so vertical axes remain locked when power is removed. The unit operates in ambient air from 0 to 40 °C without derating, while storage is permissible from -20 °C to 80 °C. Installation is simplified by a 250 mm centering diameter and a 260 mm square flange that align with standard machine frames. The plain shaft is sealed to help prevent coolant leakage, and relative position detection suits applications that home at startup. Wiring exits on side A through an output connector, and insulation class F supports a 155 °C winding limit when the motor is mounted no higher than 1000 m above mean sea level.
