The MHD115C-059-PP0-BA is a servo motor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MHD Synchronous Motors series. Intended for coordinated motion axes in packaging, printing, and material-handling cells, it converts electrical power from an Indramat drive into regulated rotary motion. Its internal position sensor uses optical measurement to deliver absolute feedback for more than 4096 revolutions, allowing the controller to know the rotor angle immediately after power-up without a homing cycle. This supports applications that require controlled acceleration, precise speed regulation, and repeatable positioning during long operating cycles.
The motor develops a continuous standstill torque of 70.0 Nm, supplying stable holding torque and low-speed drive force without thermal overrun; this is supported by its F-class insulation and winding code 059 stator design. A protection rating of IP65 seals the housing against dust ingress and water jets, allowing installation in processing zones where washdown cleaning is common. Its centering diameter of 180 mm and flange size of 192 mm provide the mechanical interface for rigid coupling to gearboxes or machine frames. Feedback is provided by a digital servo encoder integrated into the rear housing, and the keyed shaft transmits torque directly. Integrated servo feedback keeps composite positioning error within ± 0.5 angular minutes, which suits indexing tables and other axes that require repeatable alignment.
