The Bosch Rexroth MHD115C-058-PG1-BA is a synchronous motor. It is a MHD series motor which is made with permanent magnets and features electronic commutation. The use of special magnets allows MHD motors to have low inertia mass. MHD motors are used in combination with drive controllers for applications such as machine tools, handling, automation and printing machines. Drive controllers used with the motors have to be programmed before startup. Bosch only permits use of accessories that have been approved and are specified in the product documentation. MHD motors may not be operated if the operating conditions do not comply with environmental conditions specified in the documentation or if the fields of application have not been expressly released for the motors by Rexroth. The operating MHD115C-058-PG1-BA carries high voltages and should be disconnected from power before any maintenance activity.
