The MHD115C-058-PG0-BN is a servo motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MHD Synchronous Motors series. It is used for closed-loop axis control in industrial automation and combines digital servo feedback with an integrated absolute encoder that tracks more than 4096 revolutions. Position information is captured optically for wear-free feedback, and winding code 058 identifies the electrical profile used with matching drive controllers. This feedback arrangement helps the drive retain position awareness after power cycling. The motor is supplied without a holding brake, uses a plain shaft for direct coupling, and routes its power lines through a housing-mounted connector on side B.

At standstill, the motor sustains 70.0 Nm of torque, making it suitable for high-load indexing tables and presses. A sealed housing rated IP65 blocks dust ingress and water jets, while internal coolant passages provide Liquid cooling to remove heat during continuous operation. Precise alignment during installation is aided by a 180 mm centering diameter, and repeatable motion is supported by a system accuracy of ± 0.5 angular minutes. The C-length frame and size 115 stator package support the motor’s output capability, and the shaft seal helps retain lubrication while limiting contaminant entry. Class F insulation allows winding temperatures up to 155 °C during operation under thermal load. Storage within this temperature range helps protect insulation and internal mechanical parts when the motor is out of service. The mounting flange supports accurate positioning against mating machine surfaces during assembly.
