Product Description:
The MHD115C-058-NP0-AA is a servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and part of the MHD Synchronous Motors series. It is designed to provide controlled rotary motion to automated axes and uses digital servo feedback (HSF) with an optical measuring method for relative position feedback. Its feedback signals let the connected drive monitor rotor movement during closed-loop speed and position control. The unit has motor size 115 and length code C, and it converts electrical power into precise mechanical rotation in machine tools, packaging lines, and handling modules.
The motor can sustain a continuous torque of 70.0 Nm at standstill, allowing heavy loads to be held without additional gearing. A centering diameter of 180 mm and a flange size of 192 mm align the housing to standardized mounting faces, while the power leads exit on side A through an output connector. This mounting arrangement supports accurate alignment to the driven machine. The housing is rated IP65, so fine dust and low-pressure water jets do not reach the internal windings. Winding code 058 identifies the electrical constants used by the matching drive, and the assembly can operate up to 1000 m above mean sea level without derating.
Heat dissipates by natural convection, and insulation class F allows winding temperatures up to 155 °C within an ambient range of 0 to 40 °C. The feedback system provides a system accuracy of ± 0.5 angular minutes, which supports positioning tasks such as indexing tables and synchronized gantries. A keyed shaft with a shaft seal helps prevent slippage under peak torque, while the relative feedback system requires a homing routine after power loss because no absolute position value is stored. The motor can be stored between −20 and +80 °C, and it is supplied without a holding brake, so static locking must be provided externally when needed.
