The MHD115C-024-PP1-BN servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MHD Synchronous Motors series. With a frame size of 115 and a length code of C, it is intended for medium-inertia axes that require high positional accuracy. The motor has a system accuracy of ± 0.5 angular minutes and can be installed at elevations up to 1000 m above mean sea level. Designed for industrial automation, it converts electrical power into controlled rotary motion for packaging lines, gantry axes, and transfer stations.
Its continuous stall capability is 70.0 Nm, so the axis can hold loads without overheating during stationary operation. The square flange measures 192 mm, matching larger gearbox frames and a 180 mm centering pilot. An enclosure rating of IP65 helps block dust and low-pressure water jets from internal components. Heat is removed by liquid cooling, which helps stabilize winding temperature in enclosed installations. The motor operates in an ambient range of 0 to 40 °C, and a shaft seal helps limit lubricant escape. Optical measurement within the digital servo feedback unit supplies high-resolution position data to the drive. A spring-applied holding brake is integrated to help keep vertical loads secure, and power is supplied through an output connector.
Winding insulation is rated to Class F, allowing elevated internal temperatures without damaging the enamel system. During storage, the motor can withstand temperatures from -20 to +80 °C, which supports long-term warehousing before installation. Accurate multi-turn position tracking is provided by absolute feedback for more than 4096 revolutions, so the controller can retain position data without a homing cycle. Power leads exit the housing on side B, which can simplify cable routing when several axes share one cabinet. Winding code 024 sets the electrical profile used by the matching drive.
