Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MHD115C-024-PG0-BN within its MHD Synchronous Motors series. This servo motor supplies precise rotary motion for CNC axes, printing cylinders, and transfer lines where synchronized speed and exact positioning are required. The model uses a plain shaft with a shaft seal, so the drive end stays protected from coolant splash and debris during routine machine operation. Combined with digital servo feedback and an optical measurement system, it integrates with Indramat drive controllers to close the position loop in demanding automation duty.

At standstill, the unit can deliver 70.0 Nm of continuous torque, enough to accelerate mid-range loads without approaching thermal limits. The motor is sealed to IP65, which blocks dust ingress and low-pressure water jets so it can mount directly on the machine frame. A flange diameter of 192 mm supports mounting on common machine interfaces. Heat is removed by liquid cooling, which circulates coolant through the housing more efficiently than forced air. The stator windings use Class F insulation to support high copper temperatures during peak cycles. The motor is built in size 115 with length C and winding code 024. Power is connected through a connector on side B, and the shaft is supplied without a holding brake.

During operation, the motor stays within an ambient range of 0 to 40 °C, and it may be stored between -20 and +80 °C without component damage. Position feedback reaches ± 0.5 angular minutes of system accuracy and uses Absolute (>4096 revolutions) multi-turn feedback, enabling accurate homing after power restoration. A centering diameter of 180 mm helps maintain precise shaft alignment with driven machinery. Installation is permitted up to 1000 m above mean sea level, so altitude in typical facilities does not reduce performance.
