The MHD115B-058-NG1-AA is a synchronous servo motor in the MHD family designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with digital servo feedback for controlling the motor’s speed and detecting its position. This encoder has a data storage feature where information such as the type name, control loop parameters, and other motor parameters are stored. As a result, the motor can be started quickly and easily, and it can adjust to its drive controller with no risks of damage. The system accuracy of the encoder is ±0.5 angular minutes, and it eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder.
With its brushless design and bearings that stay lubricated throughout their service life, the MHD115B-058-NG1-AA can be operated maintenance-free. The bearings have a service life of 30,000 operating hours and are designed for high radial loads. Thanks to the electronic commutation feature of this motor, it is ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. It also allows the peak torque to be utilized across a wide speed range. The safe operation of the motor under poor environmental conditions is possible as it is completely sealed; hence, its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65. In addition, it is coated with a black prime coat that is resistant to weathering, diluted acids, and diluted lyes.
