Product Description:

The MHD synchronous motors are permanent-magnet motors that exhibit electronic commutation. They are produced by Bosch Rexroth and possess special magnetic materials in their construction, which allow them to have low inertia. These MHD motors present varying continuous torque at standstill and have a wide range of applications. They are commonly used in printing and paper-processing machines, machine tools,  automation and handling systems, and packaging and food processing machines.

The MHD115B-024-PG0-AN is an MHD motor with a frame size of 115 and motor length B. It has a mass of 55kg and can attain a maximum speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute. Due to its electronic commutation feature, it is suited to execute continuous start-stop operations with a high rate of repetition. Its torque to inertia mass ratio is advantageous because it allows the motor to possess high dynamics. This motor features digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder which stores the motor type name, the control loop parameters, and other motor parameters. These data are utilized by the drive controller to enable the fast and easy booting of the motor.

It can be cooled via natural convection; hence it is a self-cooling motor. During transport or storage, this motor is best placed in a space with a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.
