Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the MHD115A-035-NG1-BA within the MHD Synchronous Motors series. This AC servo motor supplies regulated torque and velocity for positioning axes, pick-and-place modules, and coordinated conveyor drives in automated plants. In these roles, it converts electrical commands from the drive into rotary motion that can start, stop, and reverse with predictable control. Integrated digital feedback supports accurate closed-loop motion, while the sealed housing and plain output shaft allow direct coupling to machine elements in continuous-duty service. This arrangement helps the drive maintain stable speed and position when the load changes during acceleration, transfer, or dwell periods.
At standstill the motor can deliver 32.0 Nm continuously, and a built-in holding brake supplies 70.0 Nm when power is removed. The enclosure is rated IP65, and heat is removed by natural convection, so no external cooling hardware is required. Rotor position is captured by digital servo feedback (HSF), and the motor uses a 192 mm square flange for mounting. The stator uses winding code 035 with class F insulation, power exits through a connector on side B, and the plain shaft includes a shaft seal to limit ingress. The brake is useful where the axis must remain in place after the power stage is shut off, and the sealed shaft area helps reduce contaminant entry at the output end.
