The MHD115A-024-NG0-BA model is designed to rotate at a rated speed of 2000 RPM while providing a rated torque of 37.5 Nm and consumes a rated current of 18 A when operating in surface cooling mode at 60/100 K. Aside from its exceptional performance in a wide range of appliances, the MHD115A synchronous motor has a few other benefits, like a maximum theoretical torque generation of 110 Nm and low weight of 30 kg. When utilized in natural cooling at 60 K, the motor has a rated power of 3.8 kW, a rated voltage of 309 volts, and a thermal time constant of 60 minutes. The motor contains a plain output shaft with a sealing ring on top of it and both the shaft and bearings are subjected to both radial and axial forces during operation. The MHD115A synchronous motor was meticulously built to operate in severe settings, providing a constant torque of 36.5 Nm at a constant current of 25 A during natural convection at a temperature of 100 k with exceptional precision and consistency. The model has a winding inductivity of 8.6 mH and winding resistance of 0.66 ohms.
