Product Description:
The MHD112D-027-NP0-BN is a servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MHD Synchronous Motors series. The unit converts drive current into controlled rotary motion for machinery that demands accurate positioning, including indexing tables, material-handling axes, and other automated motion systems. An integrated digital feedback channel conveys shaft position to the drive so current loops react in real time and the connected controller can correct motion errors quickly. Combined with a housing prepared for liquid circulation, the motor provides high continuous torque density without enlarging the installation envelope.
At standstill, the motor can exert 48.0 Nm of continuous torque, allowing heavy loads to remain clamped without overheating. Heat generated during that duty cycle is removed through liquid cooling, in which coolant passes through the housing and keeps winding temperature below insulation limits. The motor uses a 192 mm flange size, and concentricity is guided by a 130 mm centering diameter to support precise coupling with gearboxes or machine frames. Rotor angle information is provided by digital servo feedback (HSF), which supplies multi-cycle position data to the drive for smooth velocity control during rapid reversals.
For applications that already include external braking methods, the motor is supplied without a holding brake, reducing inertia at the shaft. Power leads exit the housing on side B, and the output connector allows cable removal without tools. Motion is transferred through a keyed shaft, and a shaft seal is fitted to minimize lubricant ingress into the bearing chamber. Position is measured on a relative basis, so the drive performs a homing routine after power-up before absolute machine coordinates are established. The motor uses winding code 027 with the D-length stator and motor size 112, which matches the electrical and mechanical package of this unit.
