Product Description

The MHD112B-058-PP0-BN synchronous motor is one in the line of many top-tier motors designed and manufactured by Rexroth Bosch Indramat. Rexroth manufacturing has remained a major player in the production of cost-effective solutions for industrial automation, especially in aspects of motors and drive controllers.

Featuring a standard Rexroth motor design, the MHD112B-058-PP0-BN motor supports cooling via natural convection or surface cooling (depending on operation and demand for heat discharge). It has the following measurements for flange size and centering diameter respectively: 192mm and 130mm. Also, based on its frame-length: designated by the code ‘B’ in ‘112B’, it can generate a continuous torque of 28Nm at standstill; this puts it in the category of high torque producing MHD motors with the ‘B’ frame length. For intermittent operations, it can produce a maximum torque of 102Nm at the maximum permissible current of 183A (this is permissible for a maximum period of 400ms). The characteristic speed of operation is at 4000min-1; however, it can be clocked at a maximum of 4500min-1. During operation, it uses a rated current of 6.4A (and up to 26.7A for the surface cooled type), and with a terminal voltage of 212V (or 301 for surface cooling mode). The motor shaft is designed with a keyway and key according to DIN 6885-1 (with sealing rings), and it has no holding brake. For ease of integration with drive controllers, it uses a digital servo feedback with integrated multiturn absolute encoder. Finally, the motor has its output connectors on the ‘B’-side, for the power cable and encoder output.
