The latest of Bosch Rexroth’s innovations are the synchronous servo motors that are available in over 50 types with maximum torques of up to 360 Nm. Amongst these, Bosch Rexroth’s MHD series consists of permanent-magnet motors that are equipped with electronic commutation. All of these motors are manufactured specially to include magnet materials that allow the motors to work effectively with low inertia masses. All AC servo motors from the MHD Series by Bosch Rexroth can easily be used as both servo and main drive motors. In most cases, the MHD motors are used for machine tool applications, printing and pressing machines, packaging and food-processing machinery, and automation and unit handling.
Bosch Rexroth’s MHD112B-058-NP0-BN is part of their new MHD Synchronous Motor series and has gained immense popularity as an Indramat legacy part. The MHD112B-058-NP0-BN has a 192mm flange size, 130mm centering diameter and 28.0 Nm motor frame length. As the MHD112B-058-NP0-BN motor is meant to be used for a wide range of applications in all kinds of environmental conditions, it has a windings code of 58 and is carefully equipped with digital servo feedback, making it future-proof for automation purposes. The MHD112B-058-NP0-BN has a shaft with keyway and a shaft sealing ring but does not have an installed holding brake. The housing type on the MHD112B-058-NP0-BN synchronous motor is for liquid cooling and there is an output connector in direction of side B available for power connections.
