The MHD112B-048-PG2-BN is a servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MHD Synchronous Motors series. It couples an integrated absolute encoder with digital servo feedback to give closed-loop position data directly to the drive controller, making it suitable for packaging lines, gantry axes, and similar automation equipment that demand repeatable angular positioning. This arrangement lets the connected controller monitor rotor position continuously and respond accurately during indexing, speed changes, and repeated start-stop duty.
This motor delivers a continuous standstill torque of 28.0 Nm, and its spring-applied holding brake can hold the shaft with 32.0 Nm when power is removed. Liquid cooling through the housing removes copper losses without external airflow, helping the windings stay within the F-class insulation limit. A protection rating of IP65 keeps dust and low-pressure water jets out of the housing, and the plain shaft has a seal to help prevent fluid ingress. The mounting interface uses a flange size of 192 mm, and the centering pilot is machined to 130 mm for concentric alignment with the driven load. Power is routed through a connector on side B, which suits machines that place cables toward the non-drive end.
