The MHD112B-048-PG1-BN is a servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the MHD Synchronous Motors series. As a brushless AC drive element, it converts controlled electrical power from an Indramat drive into rotary motion for positioning axes, transfer stations, and packaging machinery within industrial automation. The unit combines mechanical power density with integrated feedback to allow precise closed-loop speed and position control when paired with digital drive controllers. Its construction supports installation in high-duty production cells where cycle accuracy and repeatability are required.
At standstill the motor can deliver 28.0 Nm of continuous torque, enabling static load support without overheating. A 130 mm centering diameter and 192 mm flange size match standard mounting frames, while the plain shaft with a factory-installed seal provides leakage protection at the output end. The housing is equipped for liquid cooling, dissipating copper and iron losses under sustained load. With a protection rating of IP65, the enclosure blocks dust ingress and water jets during wash-down cleaning. The rated mechanical performance remains stable up to the maximum setup height of 1000 m above mean sea level.
The integrated brake supplies 22.0 Nm of holding torque, securing vertical axes when power is removed. Windings carry Insulation Class F materials, permitting hot-spot temperatures up to 155 °C without dielectric breakdown. The motor operates continuously between 0 °C and 40 °C, and it tolerates storage from –20 °C to 80 °C. Digital servo feedback is obtained optically, providing ±0.5 angular minutes of system accuracy and absolute position information for more than 4096 revolutions. The power leads exit through an output connector mounted on side B, aligning with the winding code 048 and B-length, size-112 frame requirements.
