The MHD112B-035-PG0-AN model when run at 294 volts rated voltage and 167 Hz rated frequency produces 24.4 Nm of rated torque and 8 kW of power during natural cooling at 100 k temperature. With a moment of inertia of 192 x 10-4 kgm2, the model's winding inductivity and resistivity are 5.5 mH and 0.43 ohms, respectively. Because of the IP65 protection certification and F class insulation, the MHD112B synchronous motor is completely guarded against microscopic dust particles and low water jets blasted by the nozzles. The motor is often used in motion control systems, however, it does not include a holding brake. If the motor is placed in accordance with the IM V3 design, fluid from the output shaft may enter and damage the motor. The 34 kilogram MHD112B synchronous motor features a casing that allows for both natural and liquid cooling to disperse heat from within.
