Bosch Rexroth’s cost-effective automation systems are used for diverse applications including food processing and packaging machines, paper processing and printing machines, machine tools, and handling and automation systems. To create these systems, the servo motors of the MHD series are combined with digital intelligent drive controllers from Indramat. These servo motors are equipped with multiple features that make them highly functional.

The MHD095C-035-NG0-AN is a permanent magnet synchronous motor of the MHD series used as a servo and main drive motor. It is built with innovative features like a high overload capability and is enclosed in a completely sealed motor housing to enhance its durability. The brushless design of this servo motor and its bearings that stay grease-lubricated for as long as they are used make it a maintenance-free motor. This contributes significantly to its high operational reliability, in addition to its resistance to damage even when used in adverse environmental conditions. Damage due to thermal overload conditions is also prevented as it features a temperature sensor system in its windings.

A digital servo feedback system in the MHD095C-035-NG0-AN is present to detect its relative indirect position using the optical measuring principle. The encoder system has a data memory that ensures the quick and smooth startup of the motor as vital parameters like the motor type name, its control loop parameters, and motor parameters are stored in it. It also allows the motor to be seamlessly connected to its drive controller with minimal risk of damage.
