The MHD095B-058-NP0-BN servo motor is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MHD Synchronous Motors series. As a rotary actuator for factory automation, it connects to digital drive controllers and delivers programmed speed or position profiles to conveyors, pick-and-place arms, and machining spindles. It supplies feedback-controlled torque through a keyed output shaft, making it suitable for precise motion tasks in automated equipment. Its synchronous design allows the controller to coordinate torque, speed, and position with a high level of responsiveness. This makes the motor appropriate for indexing, feed, and transfer axes that require smooth starts and stops.

The motor has a centering diameter of 130 mm and mounts through a flange with a dual bolt pattern of 140 / 150 mm. This flange arrangement helps align the housing accurately with mating machine surfaces. A keyed shaft transmits torque, and the power connector is positioned on side B to simplify cable routing inside panels. The winding delivers a continuous standstill torque of 17.5 Nm, and heat is removed by liquid cooling integrated into the housing. Protection against dust and low-pressure water jets is rated IP65, allowing installation near coolant spray zones. Position feedback is generated by a digital servo feedback encoder that uses an optical measurement method, and the motor uses insulation class F for thermal durability.

System accuracy is rated at ± 0.5 angular minutes, supported by relative position detection and a shaft seal that helps block coolant ingress. The unit operates in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C and can be stored from -20 to +80 °C without damage during shutdowns or transit. These temperature limits make the motor suitable for normal indoor production areas as well as warehouse storage before installation. Operation is permitted up to 1000 m above MSL without derating. The motor is supplied without a holding brake and uses motor length B in the 095 frame size.
