The Bosch Rexroth MHD093C-058-NG0-RN is a synchronous servo motor. The housing of the motor is designed for liquid cooling or natural convection. Mechanical parameters of the motor include 0.00030 kg m2 rotor moment of inertia, 4500 RPM maximum speed, 23.5 kilograms weight and 88 Nm theoretical maximum torque. The time constant varies with cooling method used: it is 75 minutes for natural convection and 25 minutes for liquid cooling. The recommended cross-section of the motor power wires also varies with cooling method: it is 4 mm2 for liquid cooling, 2.5 mm2 for natural convection at 100K overtemperature and 1.5 mm2 for natural convection at 60K overtemperature. Rated speed of the MHD093C-058-NG0-RN is 2500 RPM and the characteristic speed is 3000 RPM. With natural convection and 60K overtemperature, the continuous stall torque at standstill is 23 Nm and the continuous stall current is 18.5 Amps.
