The MHD093C-024-PG0-AA model is one of the top-class synchronous motors developed by Rexroth Indramat. This model offers continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies due to its electrical commutation. The MHD093 synchronous motor is developed to operate at the normal speed of 2000 rpm to deliver the constant torque of 1.79 Nm/A with 1.16 Ohms of winding resistance. The model is manufactured to operate at the constant voltage of 320 – 339 V and produces the rated power of 2.7 to 4.4 kW at natural cooling mode and 6.7 kW at surface cooling mode. The MHD093 synchronous motor has 4 pole pairs and it uses the phenomena of natural convection for controlling the ambient temperature of the motor. Under extreme operating conditions, a radial/axial blower unit is installed with the MHD synchronous motor for surface cooling. The rated current required by the motor is 4.9 – 12.1 A. The motor should only be used as per instructions mentioned in the MHD user manual. Only company-recommended components and accessories are allowed to be used with this motor.
