The MHD093B-058-PG2-AA is an IP65 rated servo motor. The motor cools via natural convection or surface cooling. The ideal ambient temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The permissible range of temperatures for motor storage is -20 to 80 degrees Celsius. The area used for storage should be dry and free from dust and vibration. The MHD093B-058-PG2-AA should be stored horizontally. The motor must be protected from shocks during transport. Shock absorption should be provided if strong vibrations are expected during motor transport. The motor should be transported only in the horizontal position. Cranes with lifting sling belts should be used to lift the motors. The plastic protective sleeve on the shaft should be removed only prior to motor mounting. The motor power connecter is located on side A.
