The MHD093B-058-PG1-BN is a MHD series synchronous motor from Bosch Rexroth. It is intended to be used with a compatible drive controller. When used for industrial applications, the combination of a controller and the motor forms an effective drive system that can be used for a wide variety of application. An important characteristic of this system is feedback which enables closed-loop control: the motor is equipped with a feedback device and sends information about its speed and position to the drive controller. This feedback enables the drive controller to manage motor parameters such as torque and speed. The MHD093B-058-PG1-BN supports digital servo feedback with an integrated multi-turn encoder. The motor also include a 22 Nm rated holding brake which operates at 24 Volts DC and draws 0.71 Amps current. The shaft on the MHD093B-058-PG1-BN is plain and is fitted with a sealing ring.
The seal on the shaft of the MHD093B-058-PG1-BN motor prevents oil leakage. The seal also prevents ingress of dust and moisture.
