The Bosch MHD093B-035-NP0-RA is a MHD servo motor. It has a housing that is designed for natural convection or surface cooling. The motor housing has a protection rating of IP65. The first digit of the IP rating informs us that the motor housing is totally dustproof. The second digit of the IP rating informs us that the motor is protected from low-pressure water jets directed at the motor from any direction. The seal on the motor shaft also contributes to the protection rating. The MHD093B-035-NP0-RA motor can be safety operated outside control cabinets. The motor is well suited to installation and operation near machinery. This motor feature helps to reduce the costs that are associated with installation. This feature also leads to reduced cable runs and simplifies system maintenance and troubleshooting. The motor housing is painted matte black. Weight of the motor is 19 kilograms.
The shaft on the MHD093B-035-NP0-RA motor also includes a key as per DIN 6885-1. The motor power connector is located to the right side. The MHD093B-035-NP0-RA does not feature a holding brake. However a holding brake is available as an option and can be ordered separately if required. The MHD093B-035-NP0-RA supports digital servo feedback. Sealing air connectors are available for MHD motors. They are attached to the motor by replacing the motor flange socket cover. The overpressure present inside the motor prevents the coolants and penetrating oils from entering.
