The MHD093B-024-PG1-LN is a new generation industrial synchronous motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to operate as a servo motor and a main drive motor in industrial production systems. This motor offers cost-effective automation systems with extensive functionality over a broad speed range; this motor is particularly suitable for handling systems, machine tools, printing and paper processing industries and lots more. The housing of the MHD093B-024-PG1-LN industrial synchronous motor completely protects the motor's internal components from the interference of solid materials and liquid materials; it is also specially structured to allow for the direct installation of the motor into the industrial servo system. This motor can maintain an efficiency of about 95 percent for more than seven years under appropriate operating conditions.

The MHD093B-024-PG1-LN synchronous motor contains digital servo feedback with a multiturn absolute encoder; this encoder converts the physical movements of the motor into digital signals the drive controller can easily interpret and use to control the operation of the motor in real-time. The heat generated by this industrial motor can be regulated via natural convection or liquid cooling depending on the preference of the industrial operator and the industrial application for which the motor is required. At a rated current of 4.0 Amperes, this industrial motor rotates at a rated speed of about 2000 amperes; it also generates a rated torque of about 9.6 Newton meters. The maximum rotational speed of this motor is about 4000 revolutions per minute.

The MHD093B-024-PG1-LN industrial motor contains an electrically releasing holding brake, which helps to retain the load connected to the motor's housing when the motor is at a standstill. The holding torque of this brake is about 22-newton meters.
