The Bosch Rexroth MHD093B-024-PG0-BN is a servo motor. It is part of the MHD product line. In connection with drive controllers from Bosch, MHD motors offer an effective solution for applications involving machine tools, packaging and food machines, and automation. The numerous advantages offered by MHD motors include high operational reliability, maintenance-free operation, high performance data, overload protection, continuous start-stop operation with high repeat frequencies, easy cabling and simple and quick start up. The performance data specified by Bosch for MHD motors applies to 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and setup heights ranging from 0 to 1000 meters. Use of motors outside these ranges requires consideration of utilization factors which leads to reduction in performance data. The motors can be used at temperatures of up to 55 degrees Celsius and at heights of up to 3000 meters, but with derating.
The MHD093B-024-PG0-BN motor supports digital servo feedback and comes with an integrated multiturn encoder. Other motor features include a plain shaft with seal, power connectors on side B and a housing that is designed for liquid or convection cooling. The MHD093B-024-PG0-BN does not include a holding brake. MHD motors such as the MHD093B-024-PG0-BN are available in design B05. The permissible types of installation include flange attached on drive side of the flange, flange attached on drive side of the flange with drive side pointing down and flange attached on drive side of the flange with drive side pointing up. The MHD093B-024-PG0-BN is painted in prime coat black that provides protection against weather, coloring, chalking, diluted acids and diluted lyes. Bosch does not permit providing the housing with additional varnish coat having thickness of more than 40 micrometers.
