The Bosch Rexroth MHD093B-024-NP1-BA is an advanced servo motor. It uses permanent magnets and features electronic commutation. The use of special magnets enables motor design with low inertia. The advantages of MHD motors include easy cabling, simple and quick startup, maintenance-free operation, overload protection and high overload capability. MHD motors can be used under adverse conditions due to the completely closed motor design with IP65 protection rating. The IP65 rating provides complete dust protection and very good liquid protection. This protection rating means that the motor does not need cabinets for installation. The motor can also be installed near operating machines which helps to reduce cable runs. Due to their advantages, MHD motors are well suited to applications such as machine tools, automation and handling. Integrated features on the MHD093B-024-NP1-BA motor include digital servo feedback and a holding brake.
