The model is a part of a digital intelligent drive system and is only recommended to be used with the digital intelligent drive controller prescribed by Rexroth Indramat. The MHD093 synchronous motor provides high operational reliability under extreme working conditions and it can be mounted under the ambient temperature range of 0 to +40 degree Celsius. The motor can be installed at the maximum elevation of 1000 meters and with the further increase in altitude the motor efficiency will decrease gradually. The MHD093 synchronous motor is engineered to operate under harsh climatic conditions, owing to its IP65 protection category. The motor is not protected by a holding brake whereas, a temperature monitoring sensor is provided in this model to monitor the housing and winding temperature of the motor.

The model MHD093A-058-NP0-AA comes in a B05 flange design having 140/150 mm of flange size that allows installation in any desired mounting position. The speed of the synchronous motor can be controlled with the help of digital servo feedback and it can also control the position of the output shaft. A shaft with keys is placed in this model to deliver the rated power of 1.9 – 5.9 kW while operating at the natural convection or surface cooling mode.
