The MHD093A-058-NG1-BA is a convection cooled synchronous motor. It is part of the MHD family of motors from Bosch Rexroth. The ambient temperature range recommended for motor operation by Bosch is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. If the ambient temperature goes above 40 degrees Celsius, then the internal temperature of the motor will exceed safe limits which could cause the motor to malfunction. Therefore it is imperative that the flow of around the motor should be unobstructed so that the ambient temperature remains within recommended limits. Power connector on the MHD093A-058-NG1-BA is located on side B of the motor. The motor features a holding brake with 22 Nm rated holding torque.
