The MHD093A-024-PP1-BA MHD manufactured by Bosch Rexroth is a stable-magnet motor designed with electronic commutation for wide speed range and magnetic materials that give it low inertia masse. The MHD motor uses a digitally controlled driver with high data performance capability, which makes it the best option for system automation. The AC servo motor has an IP 65 degree protection with a closed motor design, giving the ability to function effectively in unfavorable environmental conditions. The MHD093A-024-PP1-BA is suitable for use in various applications such as industrial machine tools, paper and printing industries, automation and handling, food and packaging machines.
The MHD093A-024-PP1-BA from the MHD series has an integrated encoder system to control the motor for quick start-up and easy operation. A temperature monitor and stator windings located at the outside wall protects the servo motor from overload and overheating. The motor has a maximum speed of 2000 pa min-1 and a DC link voltage of 540 VDC, which is classified according to VDE0298-4 (1992). Installation of the motor should be according to the installation type B2 per EN 60204-1 (1993) regulations. In scenarios where the MHD motor is utilized in extreme loads such as continuous operations, blowers can be attached to the motor to aid in the cooling of its internal systems. The blowers are ordered separately as a sub-item and should be specified by unit, and the desired type. The motor can also be operated with a liquid cooler in such operations.
