Product Description

The MDD115D-F-015-N2L-130GA2 is one of the Bosch Rexroth digital AC servo motors of the MDD series. It is combined with IndraDrive controllers to create cost-effective automation systems with extensive functionality. It is particularly suitable for tools, textile, printing and packaging machines, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities. It has a very high-power density; hence it is used for highly-dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines and tool changing devices.

The motor feedback of the MDD115D-F-015-N2L-130GA2 is the digital servo feedback which permits a relative indirect position evaluation of the position on the motor, the speed, and detection of rotor position. It is equipped with a 60.0 Nm blocking brake used for holding the servo axes when the motor is not in use. It has two electrical connections for the power connector and the feedback connector. Its power connection consists of a power cable, connecting cable for the temperature sensor (PTC), and a connecting cable for the blocking brake. The temperature sensor is built into the motor’s windings and protects the motor against overheating.

The MDD115D-F-015-N2L-130GA2 should be operated at an ambient temperature of 40° C and installed at a setup height of 1000 m above the mean sea level. It is protected by its housing which is constructed according to the guidelines found in DIN 40050 and protects against contact to high voltage with motor parts either moving or alive (contact guards), the penetration by extrinsic objects, and the penetration of water. The housing is painted with a black prime coating which is resistant to weathering, yellowing and chalky build-ups, and diluted acids and lyes.
