Product Description

The Bosch MDD112C-N-020-N2L-130GB3 is a 2000 RPM industrial servo motor. Operators can deploy it for a range of applications that include robotics, transfer facilities, textiles and printing machines. MDD112 series motors are especially well-suited to applications that require a high degree of synchronism. MDD motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors. They support   electronic commutation, which eliminates the friction and electrical losses associated with brushes, resulting in higher efficiency and less heat generation. Motors with electronic commutation last longer, require less maintenance over their lifespan, and can be designed with more windings in the same space due to their smaller size and lack of brushes. Electronic commutation allows for more precise control over the motor's speed and torque, as well as the ability to reverse the motor's direction without reversing the polarity of the power supply.

Electronic commutation can also reduce Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) because there are no brushes generating sparks that can interfere with other electronic devices in the vicinity. MDD  motors are characterized by high performance data. They deliver high dynamics due to favorable torque-inertia ratio, high overload capabilities due to efficient heat conduction from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing, peak torque is utilized over a wide speed range, high power to weight ratio because of the compact construction, and high cyclic load capacity permits continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. The MDD112C-N-020-N2L-130GB3 is a motor with a 60 Nm blocking brake. It supports digital servo feedback and can be used with either surface cooling or natural convection. The output shaft has a smooth design and includes a shaft seal. The motor gets power through a power cable that connects to an electrical socket on side B of the motor’s housing.
