Bosch Rexroth’s MDD digital AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous motors with electronic commutation. They have extensive functionality and can be used for just about any application. Different models are available in this series with varying degrees of torque and speed. They can be combined with drive controllers from Indramat to create cost-effective and rapid-response automation systems. These motors feature electronic commutation that gives them a high cyclic load capacity, making them suitable for high-frequency operations.

The motor feedback of the MDD093C-N-040-N2L-130GB1 is digital servo feedback for evaluating the motor's position and speed and detecting the rotor position. Due to its compact design, it has a high power-to-weight ratio. It also has a blocking brake of 11.0Nm that prevents it from starting unintentionally when disconnected from its power supply.
